The Wrestler

Review: Mickey Rourke simply becomes Randy 'The Ram'. This film is a nearly perfect portrait of a broken down Wrestler who just doesn't know how to move on. You feel every punch Randy takes, every bump in the road that he encounters. It's a tragedy from the start and yet the character is so captivating its hard not to have hope for him. This is a truly moving film in which Rourke gives the performance of the year, hands down.
