The Duchess

Release Year: 2008
Review: A well made period piece, but it lacked anything that would make it stand out from the rest of the pack. The entire entire premise revolves around the strong willed, and highly admired Duchess Georgina, but I never felt this aura coming from the performance by Keira Knightly. Failing to deliver on this major aspect leaves this being a marginal film. It's enjoyable enough, but not memorable.
Rating: 3/5
