Review: This is a fun film full of interesting people. The "freaks" are the stars of this film through and through. Each unique character is engaging not only on a visual level, but as well as personal. This film was done before any special effects could aid and actor in becoming a freak. It's important to realize that the people you are watching are real people and probably face the same problems in real life as they do in the film. You can't help but get vested in their culture and feel their pain of being ostracized from the normal community. It's not long before you realize that its not the circus oddities that are freaks but the normal people who prey on them. This is a marvelous film that will leave an indelible imprint on you.
