Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist

Release Year: 2008
Review: For me, the biggest surprise of the year thus far. I went in with low expectations, thinking it would be yet another pandering date movie. And it was, but also so much more. It's one of those movies that almost has no bad parts, everything just seems to flow. It makes you realize that any day can turn into one of those unforgettable nights. Some might criticize it as just hitching a ride on the same character Michael Cera plays in Superbad and Juno, and yes, there isn't much of a difference. However, this movie stands by itself, it's not rehashing plot lines. I don't think I will ever tire of Cera's awkward teen role, especially when he is supported by such a brilliant cast.
