Land of the Lost

Release Year: 2009

Director: Barry Levinson

Review: After seeing the trailer for this oddball movie I figured it could not be as terrible as it looked.  I was wrong.  I'm shocked a movie like this could be made.  Its all sorts of a sloppy, unimaginative, unfunny and altogether  mess of a movie.  I'm not sure what they were going for.  It was like a bad children's show with adult humor, only not as fun as that premise sounds.  I try to imagine what a director wanted to convey when making a movie, thinking maybe I missed something.  I don't think its the case here.  It's just a terrible movie. Picture an episode of the original Power Rangers, then add Will Ferrell, and take away any fun.  That's pretty much this movie.  Lousy effects, a dismal story line, and flat jokes.  What a waste.
