I'm Reed Fish

Release Year: 2007
Review: The movie takes place in a small town, and follows the story of Reed Fish, a popular radio personality as he struggles to to find who he really is. This movie is just a mess. I'm a fan of Jay Baruchel, but he is horribly miscast in his role, and the performance is almost painful to watch. The movie tries to be romantic and quirky, but just comes off as corny and insincere. Without giving anything away, there is a twist in the movie that had me laughing (the only time in the entire film), at how the film completely fails at trying to bring a new edge a the tried and true romantic comedy genre. Save yourself a brutally slow hour and a half and skip this train wreck.
