Hellboy II: The Golden Army

Review: A decent follow up to the first one. It is imaginative and visually stunning, but it didn't surpass the original, and certainly didn't push the Hellboy series into a higher tier of comic book movies. The mythology in this one seemed to be a bit disconnected from the first, which actually helped make the plot slightly more enjoyable. The film is certainly enjoyable even without watching the first one, but not something that I'd go out of my way to see.
