Bringing Up Baby

Release Year: 1938

Review: A light film that should make you smile. Some of the comedy is lost after 70 years, but its remarkable how much of this film holds up. Katharine Hepburn's and Cary Grant are just plain fun to watch on screen. I didn't love it, yet I don't think I will ever get tired of watching it. It's one of those movies that if I were flipping through the channels and saw it on I wouldn't be able to stop watching it. There is not much to this film, nor should there be. Its a screwball comedy through and through and after all these years it's still funny.
