Be Kind Rewind

Release Year: 2008
Review: This movie is an odd mix of truly awful, funny and oddly endearing. It's almost as if this entire movie is a "Sweede" in of itself. The acting is atrocious, and the lines awkward, but somehow Gondry manages to make this film work if you suspend your beliefs of believability. If you just go along for the ride, there are some truly ingenious recreation scenes that had me laughing for most of movie. It that will make you smile no matter what mood you are in. So despite its obvious flaws, I'd recommend it.
