2011 Oscars - The Nominations

So it's been awhile but I'm going to try to start posting regularly again.  Just in time for the 83rd Academy Awards.  Early this morning the nominations were announced, and for me, the gauntlet thrown down to finish every film before the winners are announced.  This is the third year I have done this, and each year I fall just short of watching everything.  Usually its a foreign film or a short documentary that I just can't get a hold of.  This year will most likely be no different, but I do plan on covering all the major awards.

Over the course of the next month I will try and post as many reviews of nominated films that I can. These reviews will be shorter, since I'm trying to get through so many. In the past I had put my Oscar expectations for a film in the review, but this year I'm going to hold off and compile all my thoughts into a single post right before the ceremony.  It just makes more sense to hold off my opinion until I have seen all the films in the category.

Below is a list of all the films nominated, separated by the ones I have seen, and those I have not. I did not include minor nominations (ones I don't plan on getting to), or short subject.
