2009 Oscars: The List
Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 11:49PM It's that time of the year again. Awards season. The films are (mostly) out, and now I play catchup. I did this last year and it was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the awards so much more having seen almost all of the nominees, and I saw a whole lot of movies I would have otherwise missed out on. I've got a much better jump than I did last year, and have a couple more months, so my scope will be broader.
Here are the movies I've seen which were released in 2009, ranked by how much I liked them (some reviews have not yet been posted):

- 2012

Now the hard part. Making a list of the movies that are generating a lot of top 10 list buzz, critical acclaim and award speculation. If I'm missing any, let me know!

Over the coming months leading up to the Oscars, in addition to my normal reviews, I will contribute my award consideration for each film. A bit before the actual show, I will make my predictions, and see how I do.
So it begins!
